LED lighting technology is truly amazing and this light showcases its advantages. This light is about the size of a small hardcover book, and has mind-blowing output at a modest 135W power consumption. This will replace an old halogen utility light I had which is about 10X heavier/larger, burns super hot, and consumes much more power for a fraction of the light output. This light will easily stow in my truck, where I can have powerful flood lighting at any time, powered by either the truck’s 120V inverter or using a small portable generator. This light will be especially handy when camping in the backcountry. The waterproof rating is a definite plus.

The only negative criticisms I have are: 1) The silicone sealant application is a bit sloppy….more of a cosmetic issue. 2) The cord placement in the housing is not ideal for resting the light on its bottom edge. 3) The bracket design is very basic……would like to see a clamp, tripod mount or other more flexible mounting options, especially for my intended use as a portable light. 4) There is no built-in on/off switch.

Notwithstanding the above criticisms, this is an amazing little light and I highly recommend it.
