I was planning on using this for task lighting in my garage/workshop, but it’s not a standard light bulb base… I didn’t read the description very well. It took me a while to find the appropriate light socket at the hardware store, but I now have it rigged up like a trouble light on an extension cord and can move it around as needed. It has a little fan that kicks on when the light is on… I’m assuming for internal cooling of the LEDs. This sucker is BRIGHT! I’m pleased with it overall, but I wish I had read the description better lol
