I got this because my husband and I have a weird affinity for lights. We have all sorts of different lights, and don’t necessarily NEED any more lights, but we just keep getting them!
This light turned out to be very useful though. When I ordered it, he was in the process of fixing a chainsaw of his. Our garage lighting has never really been the greatest, especially in the area where he tends to fix things. But that night he was struggling to see a tiny spring that had to be in just the right spot, and I ended up having to grab another light I had so he could see. So when I saw this on Vine, I ordered it.
We thought it was funny how it was called a UFO light. We figured it was because of the shape, but when we powered this thing on, it literally looked like one of those scenes in the movies where a UFO flies over someone and a bright light flashes over them and they get beamed up and abducted, lol. We don’t have a crazy big garage or warehouse that they show in the pictures, the ceiling is maybe 9 ft tall. But these lights are the type that you’d see hanging from the ceiling of a Home Depot or something, lol.
It comes with a convenient hook for hanging, and it doesn’t seem to get too hot, although it does get warm, but with the amount of LEDs it has on it, it’s understandable. But let’s just say well never have an issue seeing due to poor lighting in the garage again!
