Shantae –
You really make it appear so easy along with your presentation but I to find this matter to be actually something that I think I’d by no means understand.
It kind of feels too complicated and very huge for me.
Sudy –
I own a few variations of UFO high bay lights from various manufacturers – This 160W version has a few characteristics which set it apart. By design it is quite flat and compact so it is far less bulky as compared to many other options out there. Lighting output for the 160W power consumption is about middle-of-the-road – Definitely not the brightest I’ve tested, but still very bright as a bay light. I’ve had 100W bay lights that produced the same lighting output, so that may be worth considering, if energy efficiency is important to you. What I don’t like is:
1) there is no option to dim the light (built in switch or hardwire option – neither exists).
2) hook mounting is the only included option, so this will sway if you install it in an area that has wind or drafts.
3A) the power cord comes out through the middle of the hook, so you can never get rid of the hook unless you cut and re-wire this yourself.
3B) If you are not super careful, you will nick the power cord when twisting the hook mount on or off.
Overall, this is a very useable light and great for areas with limited vertical clearance, but it’s just not for me. There are better options out there, with more features, for a similar price point.
